Farewell
Death will bring me flowers,
Fresh bloom of roses heaped,
On my grave so silently,
Where no mourner goes to weep.
Death will soothe me in her arms,
And gently kiss my cheeks,
When youth, love, and beauty are gone,
I shall rest in peace.
